Professional development opportunity for Teachers and Career Advisors

Event Description

You’ll gain up-to-date insights into industry roles, career pathways, pay rates, and working conditions, connecting directly with industry experts for valuable first-hand knowledge to guide your students.

This session is ideal for teachers, career coordinators, and pathways counsellors looking to inspire students and open doors to a promising career within Victoria’s Big Build.

Request is for volunteers who would like to be a guest speaker to discuss their career path within any of the Big Build Projects such as Rail, Roads or Health (infrastructure)

Provide a detailed overview of your event for potential Role Models. Describe what students will experience, the types of role models or workshops included, and the outcomes you hope to achieve. Mention relevant context, like the theme of the event or how it fits into your curriculum.
Select all formats that apply. For example, if your event takes place at a school but you're open to having a Role Model join remotely (e.g. via Zoom or Teams), you can select both Virtual and In-Person. This helps potential Role Models understand how they can participate and whether physical attendance is expected.
